A recent blog from a self described generation Y, non-profit marketer, museum lover has got us thinking in the Twittersphere. Can archives compete with 8 great movies with museum scenes? We are wondering how many movies include people who work in, run through, and otherwise encounter archives. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring - Gondorian archivist helps Gandolf find information about the dangerous and powerful ring in Frodo's possession.
National Treasure - Characters seek clue on back of Declaration of Independence located at the National Archives that will supposedly lead them to treasure buried by Founding Fathers of the United States. (sequel: National Treasure: Book of Secrets returns with archives themes)
